Modelling simple market structures in process algebras with locations ( Extended abstract ) Julian

چکیده
Electronic institutions are frameworks for electronic trading which specify rules for interaction, roles that (electronic) agents may play, the forms of discourse (via speech acts) in which agents may participate and the obligations that agents may acquire. Our objective is to bring the guarantees, and levels trust and confidence that people have in physical institutions to electronic trading. We are aiming to ground our specification of electronic institutions in process algebras augmented with places and in this paper we examine the specification of some key aspects of a prototypical e-institution using the (typed) Ambient and Seal calculi. Places offer a nice correspondence with our notion of scene, but although the type systems do permit the statement of some desirable (static) properties, our needs are not fully met, nor are there yet adequate tools to support our objectives.

Modelling Simple Market Structures in Process Algebras with Locations
One potential barrier to electronic trading is the almost complete absence of any guarantees, for either trading party, that each will meet their obligations. Trust can be acquired from the use of a well-known name with an established reputation, when people are involved, but if the traders are software agents, names mean very little in the absence of reputation models. Thus, we aim to establis...
متن کاملRealization of locally extended affine Lie algebras of type $A_1$
Locally extended affine Lie algebras were introduced by Morita and Yoshii in [J. Algebra 301(1) (2006), 59-81] as a natural generalization of extended affine Lie algebras. After that, various generalizations of these Lie algebras have been investigated by others. It is known that a locally extended affine Lie algebra can be recovered from its centerless core, i.e., the ideal generated by weight...
متن کاملDually quasi-De Morgan Stone semi-Heyting algebras I. Regularity
This paper is the first of a two part series. In this paper, we first prove that the variety of dually quasi-De Morgan Stone semi-Heyting algebras of level 1 satisfies the strongly blended $lor$-De Morgan law introduced in cite{Sa12}. Then, using this result and the results of cite{Sa12}, we prove our main result which gives an explicit description of simple algebras(=subdirectly irreducibles) ...
متن کاملA Simple Approach for Determination of Actuator and Sensor Locations in Smart Structures Subjected To the Dynamic Loads
The present work demonstrates the successful application of a simple active vibration control procedure based on structural dynamics. Based on mathematical and structural dynamics’ theories, the appropriate locations of sensor and actuator locations of the smart structure are predicted. Also, the optimum value of actuator force which controls the structural vibrations as quickly as it is possib...
متن کاملNumerical Modelling of the Segmental Lining of Underground Structures
There are several methods for analysing the behaviour of underground structures under different loading conditions. Most of these methods have many simplifications; therefore, in some cases, the results are too conservative and a very high safety factor, usually of more than 2 is needed. On the other hand, for stability analysis and the designing of support systems, these methods consider segme...
